May 2, 2012 (Chattanooga, TN) Precept Ministries International wins $100,000 matching grant from Covenant Values Foundation through ministry supporters’ generous response.

In March of this year, Covenant Values Foundation offered a matching grant to five Chattanooga area non-profits to help them raise additional funds. The prize: Covenant would match dollar for dollar up to $100,000 in beyond-budget giving received in the month of April from people who had not given to the non-profit in 2011 (or from those who would exceed their 2011 cumulative giving with a gift in April 2012). It is with great thankfulness that the staff and leadership of Precept Ministries International proclaims our praise to God and our appreciation to all our partners in ministry who made it possible for Precept to achieve the $100,000 matching grant. In fact, the Lord exceeded Precept’s goal by 41%!
As part of Precept’s Answer the Call initiative reaching 10 million people through a 20 million dollar investment in ministry, the stewardship of Precept’s partners and the grant from Covenant Values Foundation will allow Precept to reach 121,000 people for the purpose of establishing them in God’s Word.
